Before and After the Fire
I wanted to show some pictures of before and after the fire that burned much of our home yesterday.
This is the kitchen before and after.
The kitchen cupboards before the fire. Marcus Hartley stands in front of the new cabinets he made.

Home In the USA!
It's good to be home in Salem, Ohio. We have been here one week now. Everything is so clean and convenient. There are no roaches or rats running around. We have been enjoying drinking tap water without running it through filtration systems. There is no worry about cholera. We can do wash and ironing anytime we please. Things are so unbelievably quiet and peaceful. We have gotten some real rest. "For so He giveth His beloved rest..."
Trip to the U.S.
Yes, tommorrow is the big day for our little family. We will be traveling home. We are expecting a new addition to our family during our time in the States. Pray for us in our travels. Continue to pray for the Haitian people here at the Thomonde Allegheny mission. The revival fires continue to burn here. Two new converts were added over the weekend. Last night, we had a good altar call at the Thomonde church. Around two dozen people are interested in being baptized. It is good to see what God is doing.
Revival Fire At Thomonde
Can I say that this is the greatest revival I have ever seen? Yes! Last week was revival time for the Thomonde church. Pastor Jean Robert was the evangelist. In preparation for the revival, we had a prayer meeting on the Sunday afternoon previous to the revival, from 4-5 P.M. It seemed even then, that we could sense something special about to happen in our church.
Uplifting News From Thomonde
Mob Stones Missionaries 2
Last week, we enjoyed having Rev. Hardy and his family with us. They gave us so many encouraging words. The Haitian people just loved them. Mrs. Hardy showed an amazing ability with the Creole language which endeared her to the Haitian people. Rev. Hardy preached two wonderful messages on Sunday morning and Sunday night at the Thomonde church and Bernaco church, which saw scores of people seeking God. Last Saturday, I took them on a sight seeing trip to a waterfalls called Basin Zim. It is an enchanting place, showing the beauty of God’s Creation.
