Future Missionary Shares From His Heart

Wed, 08/31/2011 - 9:30pm |  haititrails

Last night, I attended our cottage prayer meeting and was privileged to hear none other than my brother Kester as the speaker.  He spoke on the cost of following Christ and getting out of our comfort zone to spread the gospel.  He emphasized that Christ gave His life for us and we may have to give our lives for Him.  Kester feels a call to Haiti and he is using his talents for the Lord.

I might also mention that he has started a musical group, a brass band, for our local church.  This band gave us a good brass special last Sunday morning.  He is doing all of this at age 15.  The question for those who read this blog, especially for our youth, is this: Are you using your talents for the Lord?

The picture below is Kester, preaching in the glow of the Coleman lantern.

Great to see teens following

Great to see teens following God and starting to work for him at an early age...no regret for wasted lives and wasted years
