The Rhino
Years ago, we missionaries used dirt bikes to get in to hard to reach areas of Haiti. After many spills and injuries to missionaries, we started using 4 wheelers (ATV). They were like a dream come true for Haiti missionaries. Mud and rivers that used to be a nightmare, became fun.
Even fourwheelers have their limitations, not being able to carry many passengers and large loads easily. Also, the driver is open to the rain, dust, and even rocks spit up from tires of vehicles ahead. Introduce the Rhino. This machine has proven itself during approximately 3 years of use. With little mechanical breakdown, it has been great in all kinds of conditions. I have personally hauled 4 passengers in the pickup bed, along with two of us up front. I have taken it through mud just like a regular ATV. I have been in rainstorms where I would have been soaked and cold riding a regular ATV. I have been under the burning sun for hours without getting burnt to a crisp. I have also appreciated the windshield protection from raindrops and dust. It is also nice to know that you won't get hit by flying rocks and gravel. One of our missionaries had a big rock hit the windshield instead of his face!
